Ex-Israeli diplomat: Boycott my country

Dear Friends, This article from a highly respected source is not only of immediate policy importance but includes some good background on the persistent blocks to peace presented by exigencies of internal party politics within Israel and how this plays out within the US as well. The links are also good sources of further information. Just as the final (and sadly still only partial) dissolution of apartheid in South Africa was the salvation of that country, so too a step back from apartheid in Israel is, so it seems clear to many of us who care for Israel, as being the only way forward. Several Christian faith based organizations are beginning to see the BDS movement in one form or another is a viable way to bring a non-violent end to this terrible conflict. Remember, being a peace maker does not mean not to be engaged in controversy and even strong conflict as conscience directs – it means that we will do so non-violently. Peace, Mike Kelly
